Here at JJ Potts we are passionate about creating the finest custom handmade mugs. Each unique stoneware piece is made from start to finish right here in the good ole' USA.  Each custom handmade mug begins it's hands on journey as a lump of freshly mixed pottery clay.  As is makes it's way down the production line it is slowly transformed into a beautiful ceramic mug.  First the clay is formed then shaped on the potters wheel. While still wet a handle is attached and the mug is adorned with a customized engraved clay medallion featuring artwork or a custom logo of your choice.  Then the stoneware mug is off to the glazing process where you can select from a collection of beautiful stoneware glazes each hand mixed,  in-house.  Last, but not least the mug is gas fired to over 2000 degrees yielding a custom handmade mug that is unique, durable (dishwasher & microwave safe), and beautifully displays your artwork or logo.  Join us in the creative journey of creating custom handmade mugs unlike any other.

• Handcrafted: Every mug starts its journey to "mughood" as a lump of clay.  Each subsequent hand process leaves it's unique mark on the mug giving it slight variation and character.
• Artisan Glaze Colors: We go to great length to bring you the most stunning glaze colors and combinations. In fact, many of our color pigments come all the way from Spain!  If you don't see a color that suits your needs, we can also do color match just about any shade.
• Short Lead Time : We pay meticulous attention to detail when making your mugs but we also work fast.  We can get your mugs to you in as little as two weeks!
•  Durable:  Since we blend all of our own clay and glazes in house we have complete control over the production process.  This allows us to make certain that the materials and processes we use contribute to quality & durability of the custom handmade mug, not just cost cutting.
